An Eruption Pokémon native to the region of Hoenn, Courtney at some point in her life obtained her Camerupt, using it as her main Pokémon in the battles she participated in.The Ground/Fire type was also used during her criminal occupation as a high-ranking admin for the felonious organisation Team Magma.

Tasking with slowing down Brendan - as he infiltrated Team Magma’s Hideout - and preventing him from following Maxie to the Seafloor Cavern, Courtney sent out Camerupt to challenge the young trainer’s Sceptile.
