Tabitha - Potential Future - Pokémon Generations (2016)

Assisting Maxie with his plan to revive the dormant legendary Pokémon Groudon, Tabitha and the Team Magma strike force travelled to the Seafloor Cavern via the stolen Submarine Explorer One, where they managed to complete the first part of the criminal organisations' goal.

His celebration at their triumph turned to despair and fear as Tabitha realised that Groudon could not be controlled. Alarmed by the violence and destruction that the Continent Pokémon was causing to the surrounding area, he attempted to get closer and bring Primal Groudon back under their control.

However the Ground/fire type turned their rage and fury onto the people who woke him, discharging an intense solar beam at Tabitha and the others. They scream as there is no escape from the blast.

Maxie - Potential Future - Pokémon Generations (2016)

Witnessed in a vision by his loyal supporter Courtney, Maxie used the Red Orb to stir one third of the weather trio - the continent Pokémon Groudon.

At first he was excited to see that his plan went off without any interference from Team Aqua and the young trainer Brendan, however his joy turned to panic as Primal Groudon turned on their supposed master.

"The Vision"

Rushing forward in an effort to regain control of the Continent Pokémon, Maxie is unable to prevent several islands being obliterated by Groudon's solar beam. Before he can order his followers to defend themselves, they are set upon by a second solar beam that hurtles towards them.

In a vision experienced by Team Admin Courtney, the strike force successfully arrived at the Seafloor Cavern, where Maxie used the Red Orb to awaken the legendary Continent Pokemon and revert it back to it's Primal reversion.

"The Vision"

The team is horrified to learn that they have lost control of the Pokémon, watching in terror as the world they adored was being destroyed and burned by the god-like being they unleashed upon humanity.

Primal Groudon turned on the team who tried to use him as a slave, firing at them with a high intensity solar beam. The strike force screamed as every member, including Team Magma's leader Maxie and their Admin Tabitha were caught in the blast.

Primal Groudon - Potential Future - Pokémon Generations (2016)

Whilst staring into a flashing alarm in the Team Magma Hideout, Admin Courtney perceived a vision in which Maxie achieved Team Magma’s goal to rouse the dormant Continent Pokémon Groudon.

However, in her premonition, Maxie had lost control of their ultimate weapon to expand the landmass of the world for the benefit of both people and Pokémon, which now was attacking anyone and anything that got in their way.

“The Vision”

Having undergone Primal Reversion when Maxie used the Red Orb to awaken the legendary Pokémon Groudon from his slumber within Seafloor Cavern, they rose out of the Earth and proceeded to go on a rampage, destroying several islands with a single solar beam and causing an intense heat wave across the whole of the Hoenn Region. The legendary Pokémon then turned his attention towards Team Magma and set about attacking them with a second solar blast.

Courtney’s Camerupt – Pokémon Generations (2016)

An Eruption Pokémon native to the region of Hoenn, Courtney at some point in her life obtained her Camerupt, using it as her main Pokémon in the battles she participated in.

The Ground/Fire type was also used during her criminal occupation as a high-ranking admin for the felonious organisation Team Magma.

“The Vision”

Tasking with slowing down Brendan - as he infiltrated Team Magma’s Hideout - and preventing him from following Maxie to the Seafloor Cavern, Courtney sent out Camerupt to challenge the young trainer’s Sceptile.

Courtney – Pokémon Generations (2016)

A high-ranking admin working for Team Magma, Courtney idolised and looked up to her boss Maxie and shared his vision for a world with an increased land mass for the development of civilisation and Pokémon.

She was a skilled Pokémon trainer and owned a Camerupt, using it in her crimes against the Hoenn Region in the name of the organisation she represented.

“The Vision”

Waiting for Maxie and the rest of the exploration party to arrive at the dock area of the Team Magma Hideout, Courtney greeted her employer, dreamily asking if he was ready to create the world he had always dreamed of. She was tasked with ensuring that Brendan, who was at that point infiltrating the base with his Sceptile, did not pursue them to Seafloor Cavern.

Courtney calls after him, telling him that she looks forward to his concept of a whole new world becoming a reality. She is saddened to see her idol leave, however is reassured that she will see him again in the new world and prays for his success.

She is distracted by the flashing red alarm, marvelling its beauty and remarking that through that she could see a vision of their glorious enterprise. But what she witnessed was far from peace and happiness, but destruction, pain and death of Maxie, Tabitha and Team Magma at the hands of Primal Groudon. Horrified and confused by the scene she just saw, she begins to question the visions’ meaning, but is interrupted by the arrival of Brendan.

Shaking off her inner turmoil, she giggled that she knew he would come to face her. Gloating that Brendan was too late to stop Maxie’s escape in the modified Submarine Explorer One, she boasted that the drill they had attached to the stolen vessel would ensure that they would gain access to Seafloor Cavern and access to Groudon’s chamber. Declaring that she must finish the work she had been tasked with, Courtney summoned her Camerupt, musing that she merely wanted to “engage [you] in battle” and let the outcome be decided by itself. Watching her Pokémon rear up and prepare for battle, she went on with how she wanted to study and learn more about him, tittering that she was going to “analysis” Brendan.

The leader and founder of the Hoenn Criminal Organisation Team Magma, Maxie believed in creating a better world for humanity, wishing to expand the land mass for industrial development. He was fascinated by the legends of the region and studied into the tales of the ancient continent Pokémon Groudon.

He was a very well respected leader, earning him the trust and fellowship of a large number of people who would go on to serve as operatives for Team Magma. He entrusted Courtney and Tabitha with the titles of admin and the rank of joint deputies within the organisation.

At some point in his life, Maxie procured the Mega Stone Camerputite and a keystone, which he embedded into his glasses.

He was personally responsible for stealing the Submarine Explorer One from Slateport City, retreating to their personal hideout to the east of Lilycove City. Tasking his grunts with making the necessary adaptions to the vessel, he hand picked a small strike force that would accompany him to the Seafloor Cavern and help him wake Groudon from their state of dormancy.

"The Vision"

Leading the strike force towards the inside dock, Maxie remained calm as Tabitha announced that their was an intruder breaking into the hideout at that very moment and was defeating the grunts stationed to secure the area, giving a soft grunt of recognition that he heard his admin's report.

Greeting Admin Courtey at the Submarine, he declared that they were about to set off to the "Seafloor Cave," watching the team rush off to prepare the vessel for launch. He called Courtney back, tasking her with slowing down Brendan and ensuring that the young trainer did not interfere with their plans.

Ascending the stairs to the Submarine, he looked back to his young loyalist, promising her that they will meet again once their new world had been established. Entering the craft, he took his place in the captain's chair, commanding the team to start the engines once given the green light from Tabitha that the ship was ready to be launched.

Tabitha - Pokémon Generations (2016)

A loyal admin to Team Magma and Maxie, Tabitha was a criminal operating across the Hoenn region and shared the organisation's view for a world with increased landmass for the benefits of human civilisation.

He was responsible for helping Maxie steal the Submarine Explorer One from the Slateport City Dock, as well as trying to cause a volcanic eruption using a meteorite stolen from Professor Cozmo in an attempt to awaken the legendary continent Pokémon from their slumber.

"The Vision"

Monitoring the security feed of the hideout using his tablet, Tabitha informed Maxie of Brendan's progress through sector one and entering "sector two", chuckling slightly at the incompetence of the grunts on sentry duty. Upon Maxie's instructions for them to prepare for the voyage to the Seafloor Cavern ("Cave"), he barked at them to get to work, before climbing the steps of the Submarine and standing aside for his boss to enter the craft first. He is slightly irked by Courtney calling after them, but remains quiet, trying not to show his impatience at the delay.

Satisfied that all the safety checks had been completed, Tabitha gleefully reported that the strike force was ready on Maxie's command, setting off just moments after Brendan reached the dock.

Team Magma - Potential Future - Pokémon Generations (2016)

Envisioned by Team Magma Admin Courtney back at the Lilycove Town hideout, Team Magma managed to successfully reach the Seafloor Cavern using the stolen Submarine Explorer One and woke Groudon up from their slumber using the Red Orb taken from Mt. Pyre. They bore witness to the Primal reversion of the Continent Pokémon, watching in horror as the legendary being emerged from a pool of lava with a threatening roar.

Courtney was stunned and confused at seemingly watch her idol and boss - as well as all her colleagues - die at the hands of the Pokémon they intended to use as the weapon to achieve their goal of human expansion through an unnatural continental shift.

"The Vision"

Having lost control of the legendary Pokémon, Maxie, Tabitha and the Team Magma Strike Force rushed forward in an attempt to appeal to the Fire/Ground Type's better nature. However all they could do was stare as Primal Groudon destroyed a chain of islands with a powerful solar beam. Turning their attention onto the criminal organisation, Groudon fired a second solar beam at the humans, who screamed as the attack made contact and seemingly killed them.

Team Magma - Pokémon Generations (2016)

A criminal organisation set up and founded by Maxie in Hoenn, Team Magma wanted to refashion the world so that their was more land for the development of people. To this end, the Team began looking into the legends of the Weather Trio, specifically focusing on the Continent Pokemon Groudon.

They committed multiple crimes in the name of their cause, however were constantly stopped by the young trainer Brendan, who not only reclaimed the pilfered Devon Goods, but also forced Team Magma to make a full scale retreat after taking the Weather Institution hostage.

Learning about the Orbs that were said to awaken and control Groudon and Kyogre on My. Pyre, the Team set about stealing the Red Orb, as well as the Submarine Explorer One from Captain Stern before returning to their base in a cave off the coast of Lilycove Town.

Upon reaching the hideout, Team Magma began making preparations to the stolen vessel, including adding a high-powered drill. Maxie, Tabitha and Courtney also located Groudon's resting place beneath the Seafloor Cavern, organising a strike team to bring forth
their living weapon.

"The Vision"

Having gathered his team, Maxie and Tabitha made their way to the dock where Courtney and the Submarine Explorer One was waiting for them. However the male admin was far more concerned with reporting about a security breach happening elsewhere in the base. Recognising the intruder on the security feed to be Brendan, Maxie called for as many guards as possible to stop the trainer and his Sceptile. However Brendan managed to easily fight his way through them, defeating a Golbat and a Mightyena with no effort.

Greeting the female admin personally, Maxie called all the grunts present to attention, ordering them to make the preparations for the journey to the Seafloor Cavern. On Tabitha's commands, the grunts hurried to board the Submarine. Before Courtney can follow the group, Maxie called after her, tasking her to remain behind and ensure that Brendan would not follow them. Stating that he would see her again once their mission had come to an end, Maxie and Tabitha embarked on the craft.

Having ensured that the "propulsion engines" were online, the "communication links {were} open" (and the "transceiver status was five-by-five") and the "radar system" was functioning correctly, Tabitha gleefully remarked that they were ready to set off on his word. Submerging beneath the surface of the water, Courtney greeted Brendan and Sceptile, boasting that they were too late to stop Team Magma from achieving their goals. Summoning her Camerupt, she challenged the trainer to a battle, buying Maxie and Tabitha enough time to set sail to Seafloor Cavern.

Team Magma's Golbat - Pokémon Generations (2016)

In the possession of a Team Magma Grunt, Golbat was a tool used by the criminal  during his career as a thief and bandit. They were also treated like sentry Pokémon, placed on duty to ensure that no unauthorised member could foil their operation.

Alerted to the presence of a young trainer storming the Magma Hideout, a grunt sent out a Golbat to slow the intruder down and prevent him from reaching the docking area. However they were very quickly incapacitated by Brendan's Sceptile, who caught the Bat mid-leap and threw him with enough force to render them unable to continue to battle.

The young hero and his trusted sidekick added insult to industry by leaping over their body while they were still in a daze over the rapid defeat.

Brendan's Sceptile - Pokémon Generations (2016)

Given to Brendan as a gift from Professor Birch for saving him from a wild Poochyena, the young trainer's Treecko was well trained, eventually evolving into a Grovyle, before finally reaching his fully mature state as a Sceptile. They assisted their owner and friend in earning a number of the Hoenn region gym badges, as well as in the more dangerous task of preventing Team Magma from summoning Groudon to expand landmasses for human development, to the detriment of Pokémon.

Both Brendan and Sceptile launched an offensive on Team Magma's hideout.

"The Vision"

Using the sharp leaf blades on their forearm, Sceptile cut through the steel door and forced an entry for both them and Brendan, tripping the security alarms as they went. Leaping at an approaching Golbat, the Forest Pokémon clashed with the Bat Pokémon in mid-air, overpowering the latter and sending it hurtling to the ground unconscious. Unmoved by this victory, Sceptile and Brendan continued through the base, unaware that they were Stop correcting “being” observed over the live security feed by Tabitha.

Ambushed by two grunts and a Mightyena, Sceptile used anther leaf blade, sending the Bite Pokémon flying backwards towards their master's feet. Having finally past sector four, the pair find themselves face to face with Team Magma Admin Courtney, who announced that she had been tasked by Maxie to act as a stalling tactic and ensure that they did not interfere with their plans to summon Groudon.

Sceptile was chosen to fight in a battle between Brendan and Courtney, remaining on the field as the admin called forth her Camerupt. The two Pokémon stared each other down as the fire/ground type prepared to attack.

Brendan - Pokémon Generations (2016)

The son of Norman and an unnamed mother, Brendan was a young trainer who moved to Littleroot Town, where he met and befriended the local Pokémon expert Professor Birch. He was given the choice of three starter Pokémon and chose Treecko, who he eventually levelled up and evolved into a Sceptile.

He formed an animosity with the criminal organisation Team Magma, who he had successfully defeated on numerous occasions, to the point that they deemed him as a threat to their plan of reviving the dormant legendary Pokémon of the Continent.

After Team Magma stole the Submarine Explorer One from his friend Captain Stern, Brendan pursued the thieves to a cave to the east of Lilycove Town, infiltrating their private headquarters with the help of his beloved Forest Pokémon.

"The Vision"

Using Sceptile to breach the central doors of the headquarters, Brendan fought his way through the building, fighting multiple Team Magma grunts as he tried to track down Maxie. However, his arrival did not go unnoticed with his progress being monitored on the security cameras by admin Tabitha. After Sceptile knocked out a Golbat belonging to one of the grunts, the young trainer vaulted over the unconscious Pokémon, sprinting in the direction of sector two and the dock where the boss and his admins were preparing the stolen submarine to transport them to the Seafloor Cavern.

By the time Brendan arrived at the dock, Maxie, Tabitha and the grunts had finalised the preparations for their voyage across beneath the ocean. However, he was confronted by admin Courtney, who had been informed of his mission and tasked to prevent him from following them. He silently faced Courtney down as she gloated that he was too late to stop Maxie from getting away, adding that she wanted to battle with him and "analyse" his abilities like a lab rat. He stood beside Sceptile as she summoned her Camerupt, ready to engage in battle for the future of the world of peaceful cooperation between People and Pokémon.
