Witnessed in a vision by his loyal supporter Courtney, Maxie used the Red Orb to stir one third of the weather trio - the continent Pokémon Groudon.At first he was excited to see that his plan went off without any interference from Team Aqua and the young trainer Brendan, however his joy turned to panic as Primal Groudon turned on their supposed master.
"The Vision"
Rushing forward in an effort to regain control of the Continent Pokémon, Maxie is unable to prevent several islands being obliterated by Groudon's solar beam. Before he can order his followers to defend themselves, they are set upon by a second solar beam that hurtles towards them.
